Born From Frustration, Built With Passion
It all started in 2023. We were gamers looking for honest product reviews online, but everything we found was either a paid promotion or a shallow “top 10 list” that clearly never tested the products.
We bought a $150 gaming headset based on a “5-star review” — it broke in 2 weeks. We bought a “best gaming mouse of 2023” — it had terrible sensor issues. We were done trusting fake reviews.
That decision became OPGameReviews. We started buying products with our own money, testing them in real gaming sessions, and writing detailed, honest reviews that actually help people make better decisions.

Hey there, I am Alex — a lifelong gamer who has been playing games since the PS1 era. Over the years, I have spent thousands of dollars on gaming gear, and honestly, a lot of that money was wasted on products that did not live up to their marketing promises.
I was tired of reading reviews that were clearly paid promotions. I was tired of “best gaming mouse” lists that recommended $200 products when a $40 mouse performed just as well. I knew there had to be a better way.
So I started OPGameReviews. I bought products with my own money, tested them in real gaming sessions, and wrote reviews that tell the truth — even when the truth is not what brands want to hear.
